PARMA Artist Spotlight: Elaine Huckle

If you are familiar with the United Kingdom’s contemporary music community and haven’t heard of mezzo-soprano Elaine Huckle yet, you will soon – she has recently been featured on “Three Counties Radio” with Helen Legh on BBC, and will be appearing in a musical production of “Little Red Riding Hood.”

Elaine released her album, TOWARD THE LIGHT, with PARMA in 2012 featuring 12 tracks of Baroque works spanning from Brahms to Schubert, to great acclaim. Since then, Elaine has been focused on new projects in the UK.

Elaine is currently working on Jarka Production’s setting of “Little Red Riding Hood,” titled “Lady Red Riding Hood.”  Elaine is appearing as the Grandma in this musical adaption for the stage.  You can view the video trailer featuring Elaine below.
