MAY RELEASES OUT NOW

A PATH OF LIGHT

Hevreh Ensemble

On Ansonica Records’ A PATH OF LIGHT, Hevreh Ensemble offers up a set of music that highlights the unique blend of jazz, world music, and chamber music which critics call “a new sort of aesthetic that defies description.”

ONE-ELEVEN HEAVY

Matt Frey

Matt Frey’s Navona Records debut, ONE-ELEVEN HEAVY, brings the stories of aerial accidents to vivid life in a chamber opera that explores mankind’s relationship to air travel while also commemorating the hundreds of lives lost in the Swissair Flight 111 tragedy.

IN TANDEM

Lee Actor; Peter Greve; Steven A. Kennedy; Sidney Bailin; Allen Brings

IN TANDEM, a Navona Records multi-composer release, features five unique composers presenting their unique takes on the solo and duo composition. Each track offers an intriguing experience from polyptych storytelling to experimenting with the composition of free jazz and a minimal exploration of violin and cello.

DIRECT CONTACT

Roberta Rust

PARMA Recordings presents the release of DIRECT CONTACT by renowned pianist Roberta Rust. In this Navona Records release, Rust pays homage to eight composers whom she has had the opportunity to work directly with in some capacity during her impressive career.
