Kimiko Ishizaka and the Open Well-Tempered Clavier team met up with Bösendorfer in Austria this month during the “Twelve Tones of Bach” tour to see the creation of the 50,000th Bösendorfer. During their visit, they were able to capture the creation of a fine instrument.
There are only two weeks left until the fundraising campaign for this project is complete. With the base-level of funding complete, the Open Well-Tempered Clavier team is now working to make Braille scores widely available to visually impaired musicians. Make sure you check out the Kickstarter page to learn more about this unique project.
Kimiko is currently on tour to promote the campaign – if you are in the US, check below to see if Kimiko will be in a city near you before she goes into the studio later this year!
